Why become a member?
Membership at Beautiful Savior means a deeper level of involvement and commitment to Connecting People to the Savior. Members are the only ones who: vote in our voters meetings/elections, serve in various leadership positions, have weddings at Beautiful Savior, and receive congregational mailing.
How do I become a member at Beautiful Savior?
There are two ways people become members at Beautiful Savior, depending upon their past church backgrounds: Transfers and Discovery Class. Transfers are for those who have prior membership at another LCMS (Lutheran Church Missouri Synod) congregation. New Member Class is for those who do have not have an LCMS background.
How do I go about transferring?
Transfers will need to meet with Pastor Ryan so that the necessary paperwork can be completed. Please contact the church office (331-7376) to schedule a meeting time.
You will also be required to attend one of the four New Member Orientation Meetings that are offered throughout the year.
What is Discovery Class? (Register for the class online!)
It is an eight week course that covers the basic teachings of the Lutheran Church. New Member classes will be offered throughout the year (See Calendar below).
Upon registration and completion of the course you will be required to attend one of the New Member Orientation Meetings that are offered throughout the year.
* Nursery care for children ages 3 and under is provided on Sunday mornings only.
What is the New Member Orientation Meeting?
It is a two hour seminar that will inform what it means to be a member of Beautiful Savior. You will be challenged to grow in your faith through various Bible studies and small groups, and we’ll familiarize you with the numerous opportunities for you to utilize your God given gifts in service and ministry. There are four Orientation Meetings throughout the year that meet at the La Vista site. (See Calendar below)
